OUR STORY
It Started With Helping Homeowners Keep Their Homes
In 1987, Jo Pascarella left the United States Navy and began a new chapter in real estate. But American Home Savers didn't start as a typical home-buying company.
Jo saw homeowners facing foreclosure who needed more than a transaction. They needed someone to listen, explain what was happening, and help them understand that they still had options.
That became the foundation of American Home Savers.
Over the years, AHS developed a unique approach to helping homeowners facing foreclosure. In some situations, we were able to buy the home and rent it back to the family, giving them time to rebuild their credit and work toward homeownership again.
Today, our work has expanded beyond foreclosure. We help Hampton Roads homeowners who are relocating, dealing with major repairs, tired of being landlords, downsizing, managing an inherited property, or simply ready to sell.
What hasn't changed is the way we approach people.
We believe you deserve to understand your options before making a decision. You deserve to be treated with respect. And you should never feel pressured into selling your home.

American Home Savers isn't a national company that recently started buying houses in Hampton Roads. We've been here since 1987.
